Knowledge, when shared, becomes infinite. That is the core belief that prompted us to launch the Open Knowledge Vietnam Project. We understand that on the journey of learning and conquering heights, language barriers and expensive textbook costs remain major barriers that make it difficult for many Vietnamese students to access international educational standards.
Arising from that concern, the Open Knowledge Vietnam Project was born with a simple but firm mission: To translate high-quality textbooks from OpenStax (Rice University, USA) into Vietnamese and provide them entirely free to the community.
The Difference of the Open Project Lies in the “Three No’s” Spirit
We always put the interest of learners first and protect absolute academic freedom through our commitments:
- No Fees: All materials and textbooks after translation are open completely and permanently for learners. You can read online or download as PDF/EPUB.
- No Advertisements: There is no commercial intervention or ad banners that interrupt or interfere with students’ access to knowledge.
- No Registration/Data Collection Required: We value your privacy. You do not need to register an account, fill in emails, or leave personal information to study. Learning must take place naturally, without barriers.
We do not look for commercial contracts or promotional campaigns. We look for companionship.
